A storytelling tool for Game Creator 2

Let your world
have a story to tell.

A guard remembers a kindness. A companion notices the rain. A whole market reacts when the lights go out.

Write the moments you want players to discover. Story Engine chooses the response that fits what is happening in your game.

Made for designers, writers, artists and curious game makers.

Story Engine: a pixel-art campfire with glowing embers
Built for Unity and Game Creator 2 You write every response Dialogue, events and world reactions

One character. Different moments.

Give the guard a reason
to say something different.

You do not have to write a new conversation from scratch every time the world changes. Add a response and describe when it belongs.

A small example: arriving at the town gate
The gatekeeper
"New face, eh? Keep to the main road until you know your way around."

First meetingThe player has arrived at the gate and has not met this guard before.

Same character, a different response. Build this kind of greeting

Start with a moment worth making

When this is true, let this happen.

01

Describe the situation

Has the player visited before? Is it raining? Did they return the borrowed tools? Choose the facts that matter to this moment.

02

Create the response

Write a line, open a gate, play an animation or change a quest. A Rule runs the Game Creator instructions you put inside it.

03

Ask when it matters

When the player interacts, enters a place or reaches a turning point, ask the Story Director to choose a matching Rule.

An authoring space inside Unity

Keep the situation
and the response together.

The Rule Editor brings your story moments into one place. Give each one a name, set its conditions and shape what happens next.

When something surprises you during play, Rule Trace explains what was chosen and which conditions passed or failed.

More than a conversation

What will your world notice?

Learn by playing, then change something

Four examples to take apart.

Start with a greeting. Work up to a small adventure with people, objects and more than one way through.

Pull up a chair

Start with one small story.

The first lesson takes you from an empty Rule to a response you can try in Play Mode.
